Joel
Berenbeim, D.O.
Dr.
Berenbeim specializes in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and
Prolotherapy. He trains students and residents as a clinical
preceptor with several osteopathic colleges throughout the
country.
Dr.
Berenbeim grew up in the Denver, Colorado area, graduating from
Washington University in St. Louis and the University of
Osteopathic Medicine & Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa.
In
1985, he began Medical residencies at Botsford General Hospital in
Farmington Hills, Michigan and Rocky Mountain Hospital in Denver,
Colorado. He is Board
Certified in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and Family
Practice. He has been
in practice in Denver since 1988.
His
diagnostic expertise has been honed by the scope and variety of
patients he has treated in settings from Medical Director for the
Work Performance Center to treating the
Colorado Rapids players prior to games.
His
appointments are distinguished, including Physical Medicine Task
Force for the Colorado Division of Labor and Instructor for the Hackett-Hemwall
Foundation in Honduras.
Dr. Berenbeim's
medical interests include musculoskeletal injuries, occupational
injuries, headaches, pain, rehabilitation and Prolotherapy. He is an active member of the medical community, including
many medical societies and the State department of Labor.
A
dedicated physician, Dr. Berenbeim is constantly expanding his
skill base incorporating effective techniques such as
cranial-osteopathy and Prolotherapy into his practice to better
diagnose and treat patients.
